Costa Rica (USD with Contact Information)

Costa Rica Pura Vida, is a phrase meaning “plenty of life”, “full of life”, “this is living!” or “going great”. In Costa Rica the phrase “Pura Vida” is used as a greeting or a farewell and it exists in their vernacular for good reason. Costa Rica is full of life! Discover dense jungles, active volcanos, exotic wildlife and pristine beaches. For the first time S EA D REAM I will be transiting the Panama Canal to spend several weeks exploring the exotic shores of Costa Rica. S EA D REAM has arranged for Christopher Alfaro, a highly qualified locally licensed Expert-Naturalist to sail aboard all Costa Rica voyages. He will be providing lectures for all guests in the Main Salon as well as leading most of the Land Adventures. This paradise of active volcanoes and beautiful beaches has abundant wildlife including over 14,000 butterfly species and 1,200 varieties of orchids. The surfing, hiking, rafting, zip lines and deep sea fishing is among the best in the world. November 9, 2013, S EA D REAM I will sail from Barbados to Panama City, Panama. The 10-night voyage calls on Isla de Margarita and The Los Roques Islands of Venezuela; Curaçao; Cartagena, Colombia; San Blas, Panama including a transit of the Panama Canal; all of which are “firsts” for S EA D REAM . From Panama, S EA D REAM I sails to Caldera, Costa Rica, making it her home port for six consecutive voyages. The last of these voyages spends New Year’s Eve in vibrant Panama City, Panama.

“We really had a great time which far exceeded our expectations.” Mr. & Mrs. Michael Ambrose, Sugar Land, TX
