Honors for S EA D REAM Managers & Employees Each year S EA D REAM YACHT CLUB names a Manager of the Year and an Employee of the Year for both S EA D REAM I & II. It’s S EA D REAM ’s way of showing appreciation for vision, dedication and hard work. For winners there is a cash prize, an engraved crystal plaque, a photo with the Captain to commemorate the honor and other gifts including luxury paid vacations. The 2012 Manager of the Year is Hotel Manager, Pierre van der Merwe. Pierre started with S EA D REAM in 2009 as a Waiter and excelled quickly to the position of Maitre d’hôtel in 2010. He was then soon promoted to Hotel Manager, a position he carries with great aplomb and enthusiasm. Employee of the Year aboard S EA D REAM I is Waiter, Michael (Mikee) Mara. Michael has been with S EA D REAM since May 2002 and is a true asset to S EA D REAM & the restaurant team aboard S EA D REAM I. He goes the extra mile with a smile for our guests. Employee of the Year aboard S EA D REAM II is Bosun, Colon Antonio. Antonio has worked with S EA D REAM since the company was founded. He is well liked by his colleagues, leads his team well and has great knowledge of USPH and USCG standards.
